If you are a Realtor in Honolulu, and you look up the latest Hawaii Real Estate listings, you know that you can only check the Honolulu MLS using Internet Explorer. If you are a fan of Firefox, this can be a drag. But there’s hope. Here is a workaround that I am using to use Firefox to check the Honolulu MLS (until they become standards compliant).
It takes a little setup on your side. But it’s worth it. Just install this plugin for Firefox and you can view Tempo in Firefox.
- Open Firefox
- Go to this page: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419
- Install that plugin.
- Follow the installation instructions. (basically click install and restart firefox)
- Then go to www.hicentralmls.com
- In the lower right corner of Firefox, there will be a Firefox logo. Right click the logo.
- Then click add
- That should hopefully display Tempo in an Internet Explorer window within Firefox. (And change the Firefox logo to an Internet Explorer logo)
You should be able to do this with HawaiiInformation.com and any other site that requires Internet Explorer.
